How do I sign up?

Download Quicksplit, then sign in with Apple or your email address. You don’t need to choose a password.

Step 1: download the app

Choose the download button for your phone:

Available on both platforms

Quicksplit is available on iOS and Android. People with either can join the same tab.

Step 2: create your account

Open the app and choose one of these sign-in options:

Sign in with Apple (iOS)

Tap Sign in with Apple and follow the steps to create your account.

Email link (iOS and Android)

Enter your email address. We’ll send you a link to sign in, sometimes called a magic link.

Step 3: sign in from your email

If you chose the email option, here's what happens next:

  1. Check your email inbox for a message from [email protected]
  2. Tap the sign-in link in the email, or copy the verification code
  3. If you copied the code, paste it into the magic link box in the app
  4. You’re signed in. You can now create or join a tab

Can’t find the email?

Check your spam folder. If the email isn’t there, request another sign-in link in the app.

Note: Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. If yours has expired, request a new one.

What happens next?

With your account ready, you can:

  • Create your first tab for splitting expenses
  • Join existing tabs by scanning a QR code or opening a joining link
  • Add expenses and start tracking who owes what
  • Share your tab link with friends and family to join your tabs
  • See who owes what and record payments when you settle up

Ready for your first tab?

Create a tab for your group, or use an invite link to join one. Then add your first shared expense.
